Job summary

Inspira Health Network is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors at our Vineland facilities. You will patrol proactively, respond to incidents and provide courteous, professional service under pressure.

The role requires a high school diploma, security experience, and a valid driver’s license, with training in de-escalation and BLS to be completed within set timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 6 months of security experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in law enforcement, private security or investigations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic Security Officer Certification (IAHSS) required within 1 year of hire.
• Inspira Health approved de-escalation and common language training required within 100 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 100 days.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, visitors, and property.
• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols and incident response.
• Interact effectively with hospital staff, visitors, patients, contractors, and volunteers.
• Collaborate with the Environment of Care committee to support safety and emergency management.
