Job summary

Allied Universal in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Door Checks to protect patients, visitors, staff, and contractors in a healthcare setting. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and integrity.

You will work full-time with a daytime schedule, paid at $22.15 per hour, and join a team that emphasizes customer service, safety, and everyday care for the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while following site security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and escorts as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations.
