Advocate Health Care seeks a Public Safety Officer to help create a safe, caring atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. The role focuses on physical safety while upholding compassionate patient care and proactive de-escalation.

You'll work with healthcare professionals and Public Safety partners to support a healing environment, responding to security situations with empathy and sensitivity. Requires a HS diploma and security/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in security, public safety, or customer service with emergency response responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain MVR clearance to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to security incidents with empathy and de-escalation.
