Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will protect clients across healthcare sites, monitor entrances, and provide courteous customer service.

This role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background check and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
