Job summary

Allied Universal in Las Vegas is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to patrol healthcare facilities, monitor access points, and assist patients, staff, and visitors with professional service. You will document incidents and respond to emergencies with clear communication and teamwork.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety procedures, and collaboration with site leadership. A high school diploma and background screening are required, with CPR/First Aid experience preferred and a 21+ age

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare administrative location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing clear directions and reporting access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations, concerns, and/or maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
