Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License (if applicable for the role).
• Current Basic Life Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 21 years of age.
• If located in the State of Montana Security Guard Licensure is required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security technology systems including surveillance cameras, access control and alarms.
• De-escalation to calm individuals and resolve conflicts peacefully.
• Intervene to protect safety when patients act aggressively or violently, including use of restraints when necessary.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance when reporting crimes or incidents.
• Respond to bomb threats and suspicious packages following protocols.
• Participate in drills like infant abduction and active shooter scenarios.
• Conduct respectful searches of patients and narcotics in compliance with law.
• Perform safety inspections of walking surfaces and fire extinguishers.
• Enforce parking regulations to enhance safety and accessibility.
• Collaborate with HR and law enforcement to conduct investigations.
