Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL seeks a Per Diem Security Officer for night shifts. You will perform electronic surveillance, conduct rounds, and coordinate responses to incidents affecting patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• State Driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV driving history report.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services including electronic surveillance and rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to incidents for patients, employees and visitors.
• Enforces policy and procedures for a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Works with Environment of Care committee for multidisciplinary safety.
• Drives as needed for company business.
