Prime Healthcare Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL is seeking a full-time Security Officer for the evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with Mondays & Tuesdays off. The role includes electronic surveillance, rounds, and coordination of responses to incidents to ensure a safe environment of care.

Experience in healthcare security is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent required. State driver’s license and DMV Driving History are facility requirements for hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and security rounds
• Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors
• Enforces policy and procedure with equitable enforcement
• Works with Environment of Care committee for multidisciplinary security and safety approach
