Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and property. The role includes patrolling facilities, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to security incidents, and enforcing safety policies.

Strong customer service and clear incident reporting are essential. The officer will patrol all areas, assist visitors, monitor cameras, investigate incidents, and coordinate with hospital staff and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field required
• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrols all areas of the facility, clinics, and grounds to deter/s detect unauthorized activity
• Assists visitors with directions/questions and escorts as needed
• Monitors surveillance cameras and inspects property for security risks
• Investigates and documents reports of suspicious activity, safety concerns, and violations
• Responds to alarms, emergencies, and incidents to ensure safe resolution
• Secures property by locking doors/windows/gates after hours and verifying access points
• Directs traffic, enforces parking regulations, and assists with crowd control
• Collaborates with hospital staff and law enforcement during security situations
• Completes and maintains incident reports, logs, and documentation
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance
• Complies with all policies and standards
