Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting visitors, conducting investigations, and coordinating with staff and law enforcement as needed. The position requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years in security; healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in security or related field.
• Healthcare or hospital setting experience preferred.
• BLS certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all facility areas and surrounding grounds to deter suspicious activity.
• Assist visitors with directions, questions, and escort as needed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for risks.
• Investigate and document reports of security concerns and incidents.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents to resolve safely.
• Secure doors, windows, and access points after hours.
• Direct traffic, enforce parking rules, and assist during events.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement as needed.
• Complete incident reports and maintain logs and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
