Allied Universal in Pasadena, CA is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts at a healthcare site and opportunities to earn more by claiming additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document activities while providing courteous service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct fixed and random patrols of interior and exterior areas and report hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and escalation of unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies following established procedures.
• Document patrol observations and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
