Kadlec Regional Medical Center, part of Providence, is seeking a Security Officer II to perform full protective duties ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, staff and property. The role reports to the Security Manager or Lead Security Officer and may support Providence affiliates in emergencies within the local service area.

The position is part-time for the Evening Shift (32 hours per week). Qualifications include a minimum of 6 months in Kadlec Security, as well as an Associate's degree

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in Kadlec Security department.
• Associate's degree in criminal justice, History, or English required.
• 2 years of Law Enforcement, Security, Military or Corrections experience or relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities.
• Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct and respond to incidents.
• Detain individuals when necessary or as directed by law enforcement.
• Enforce Kadlec, facility and security policies and regulations.
• Support Providence-affiliated organizations during emergent situations within the local area.

Associate's degree in criminal justice, History, or English
