Kadlec Regional Medical Center seeks a Security Officer II to protect patients, visitors, staff, and property and to enforce security policies. The role may involve restraining patients and detaining individuals when necessary, or at the direction of a police officer, and supporting Providence facilities in emergencies.
Shift details: Full time, Day Shift, 40 hours weekly. Required: 6 months Kadlec Security experience; driving may be necessary with license and auto insurance.
The Security Officer II receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a full performance level technical security protective duty to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces Kadlec, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigates reports of potential criminal conduct against Kadlec staff, visitors, staff, and property; responds and assists in restraining patients; detains individuals when necessary or at the direction of a police officer; and provides protective services to high-risk areas. May be required to support any Providence or affiliated organization in emergent situations in the local service area.
