Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• BLS or HeartSaver First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required.
• Taser User certification and OC Spray Certification are required.
• AVADE Training Levels I-III are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility at assigned locations and provide information and directions to patients, visitors and staff.
• Respond to information/assistance requests in a courteous manner.
• Provide physical assistance, wheelchair assistance, transport and escort services as needed.
• Monitor traffic flow, issue parking permits and enforce parking rules.
• Assist in preventing accidents, theft and vandalism per policies.
• Conduct routine building rounds and door checks.
• Report incidents and maintain documentation as required.
• Respond to emergencies and assist during drills and incidents.
• Operate hospital vehicles safely and perform vehicle inspections.
