Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years security experience.
• Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field with 1 year security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field with 6 months security experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certification in BLS or HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required for regulated areas.
• Obtain Defensive Tactics Certification and other compliance trainings as required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains consistent visibility at assigned locations to provide information and directional resources for patients, visitors and staff.
• Responds to information requests in a caring, courteous manner.
• Provides wheelchair assistance, transport, escort services and room access for patients, visitors and staff.
• Monitors parking areas and assists with traffic flow and permits.
• Reports incidents and maintains documentation according to policy and procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and drills per system guidelines and safety policies.
• Operates hospital vehicles safely and ensures vehicle readiness.
