Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group seeks a Security Officer for Renton and Seattle with a hybrid schedule. You will protect patients, visitors, caregivers, and facilities, enforcing security policies and responding to incidents to ensure safety across multiple locations.

The role requires security/military experience and may involve driving duties using a company vehicle. Prior healthcare security exposure is preferred; a driver license and auto insurance must be provided upon request.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience or two years of responsible work experience. Prior healthcare security experience preferred.
• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers must provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors, caregivers, property and facilities from accidents, harm, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Enforce Providence policies and respond to disruptive/combative individuals; investigate potential criminal conduct and provide protective services.
• Perform reception duties when needed and support Providence in emergent situations within the local service area.
