Allied Universal in Rockport, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Clinical Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors in healthcare settings. You will monitor healthcare areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year security-related experience, ability to lift 20 pounds, and compliance with vaccination and background checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
