Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid government-issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Observing and remaining vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
• Patrolling on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security issues
• Verbally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed
• Inspecting security devices and fire control equipment
• Screening members, visitors, and client employees to expedite admittance
• Responding to incidents with calm urgency
• Preparing logs and investigative reports for supervisors
• Reading and interpreting police reports, local/state law, and manuals
• Entering information and maintaining logs per policy
• Ensuring proper policy-compliant property removal
• Passing client pre-employment screening
• Completing healthcare competency training on defusing assaultive behavior
