Sentara Fort Norfolk is hiring a Security Officer - Unarmed to provide a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a fully onsite position with evenings shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

The role involves patrolling campuses, monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. Requires a high school diploma, CHSO and Handle with Care certs within 90 days, and a valid driver's license. One year of security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and monitor activity in and around buildings and grounds.
• Respond to routine and emergency situations.
• Conduct camera surveillance and maintain logs and records.
• Use computer systems for documentation of daily activities.
• Conduct security investigations and evaluate situations for timely resolution.
