Responsibilities

Patrols the facilities and grounds; assists with welfare and safety of personnel and patients.
Investigates critical incidents and interviews involved parties.
Enforces parking regulations and traffic control; interacts with emergency response agencies.
Operates alarms; secures doors and supervises access control.
Assists in maintenance of confidential health documents and scanning into EHR.
Testifies in court or hearings when required.
Maintains logs of security activities and prepares written reports.
Conducts money pickups and escorts in security-related contexts.
Provides guidance during security emergencies and coordinates with staff.
