Responsibilities

• Respond to security emergencies and alarms to mitigate situations.
• Coordinate emergency drills and enforce policies and ordinances.
• Provide escorts for patients, visitors and staff; monitor access to facilities.
• Patrol facilities, monitor cameras and security systems; write detailed incident reports.
• Detain or arrest offenders per policy; liaise with law enforcement as needed.
• Assist in behavioral health emergencies and de-escalate when appropriate.
• Perform duties indoors and outdoors; respond quickly to emergencies under stress.
