Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring Custom Protections Officers at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania. This full-time role pays $19.00 per hour with shifts 5:00AM-1:00PM, 1:00PM-9:00PM, and 11:00AM-7:00PM, up to 40 hours weekly, weekends included.

Officers perform security patrols, respond to incidents, and provide client service while meeting minimum qualifications such as high school diploma and at least 21 years old; multiple pathways to eligibility are listed, including military or public

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years verifiable experience acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies or equivalent.
• Graduate of CPSA or verified work in law enforcement or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed.
• Provide customer service and enforce site policies; assist in emergencies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and resolve issues.
