Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a security professional to help maintain safety and security for staff, patients, and the public. You will also manage situations where patients exhibit volatile behavioral health characteristics, ensuring a calm, controlled environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related security experience, and the ability to act with independent judgment under stress. CPR and safety training are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related security experience required.
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• Must obtain a state Weapons Carry License within 90 days.
• Annual background checks required.
• Ability to communicate with the public and patients tactfully.
• Completion of required training within 90 days: IAHSS Basic, BLS CPR, SCIPP, CEW body cam use.
