Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to provide direct security and related public services at a hospital setting. You will help maintain safety for staff, patients, and visitors and act as a visible deterrent to crime while upholding the client’s values and community trust.

Responsibilities include monitoring security for the hospital environment, supervising at-risk patients, and performing other duties as assigned. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for Driving Roles.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entire shift and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable licenses or certifications, including TASER-related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, staff, patients and visitors and deter illegal activities on hospital property.
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
