Securitas, Inc. in Sharon, CT is hiring a Full-Time Flex/Float Healthcare Security Officer to provide professional security services across designated facilities. The role floats between units, maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while upholding site policies.

You will work a steady 36-hour week on a flexible 12-hour schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week), with shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Weekly pay and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare security experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM or 8:00 PM–8:00 AM) on a steady 36-hour weekly schedule.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Meets licensing, background, and medical requirements applicable to security work.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior areas of the healthcare facility.
• Monitor access points, verify identification, and enforce visitor and access control procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and calls for service professionally.
• Provide visible security presence and assist patients, visitors, and staff.
• Adapt to different units and posts within the healthcare facility.
