Job summary

Amazon Health Services is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a team within Amazon Healthcare Security. You will build and operate security tooling and platforms protecting patient data across health services, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring zero disruption to care.

You will mentor engineers, define technical strategy, and coordinate across security, healthcare, and retail teams to enable scalable, compliant security at pace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience.
• 4+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience.
• 5+ years of developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++ experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team within Amazon Healthcare Security and drive delivery of strategic security initiatives.
• Define technical strategy for evolving security systems and manage execution across concurrent workstreams.
• Partner with cross-organizational teams to protect healthcare data at scale while maintaining patient safety.
