Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We seek a Security Engineer to protect systems, data, and patients across cloud, endpoint, and application security tooling in a collaborative team.

You will work with a Senior Security Engineer, design security initiatives, review configurations, and respond to alerts. Strong healthcare IT knowledge and AI tooling usage are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in CS, information security, business, management, or related field.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty and other security certifications are listed as desirable.
• 3+ years in information security roles, healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to automate security processes.
• Experience managing HITRUST and HIPAA requirements and auditors

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Security Engineer to scope, design, and implement security initiatives.
• Review security configurations, policies, and automation; contribute to runbooks.
• Administer core security platforms across EDR, device compliance, email security, cloud access, and DLP.
• Support security of cloud infrastructure in Azure/EntraID and AWS including IAM and monitoring.
• Respond to alerts from MDR providers and other security systems; participate in on-call rotation.
• Interpret logs and route telemetry into centralized logging and SIEM.
• Ensure configurations align with HITRUST, NIST, CIS, HIPAA, and OWASP Top 10.
