UofL Health is seeking a Healthcare Safety and Security Officer to protect campuses and ensure a safe healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will observe, patrol, respond to emergencies, and provide courteous customer service while enforcing site policies.

Responsibilities include de-escalating situations, inspecting security devices, screening entrants, and coordinating with local authorities as needed.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years old and have a verifiable high school diploma or GED.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; prior criminal history considered.
• Drug screening required; driving license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, hazard, or unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local authorities when needed.
• Provide courteous customer service while enforcing safety policies.
• Inspect security devices and screen patients, visitors, and staff for entrance control.
