Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks a Safety & Security Program Management Officer to lead safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve overall safety performance across facilities. You will oversee policies, training, and incident investigations while partnering with Environmental Services and Emergency Operations to uphold the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Three (3) years of experience in a safety-related role.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain strategies, plans, and procedures to protect employees, property, and facilities from workplace hazards.
Perform routine Security Vulnerability Assessments across all Bozeman Health facilities.
Assess workplace hazards and risks and recommend appropriate mitigations.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
