Job summary

PACM, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Safety Program Administrator to coordinate and oversee the organization’s safety program across its medical practices.

This role promotes a safe environment for patients, employees, providers, and visitors by supporting compliance with applicable safety requirements, monitoring patient and workplace safety practices, conducting site assessments, investigating safety incidents, and providing education and guidance to staff.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including data extraction, data analysis, and utilization of excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines with leadership.
• Maintain OSHA knowledge and ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular safety visits to medical offices and provide guidance and coaching on patient and workplace safety.
• Coordinate safety assessments, inspections, and training across practices and divisions.
• Identify safety risks and coordinate corrective actions with leadership.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify factors and reduce future risk.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of safety incidents and actions.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain participation records.
• Educate staff on OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Lead the Safety Committee and track action items and initiatives.
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in practices.
• Provide education and coaching when procedures are not followed.
• Analyze safety and quality metrics and report findings to leadership.
• Track safety-related action plans and follow up with responsible parties.
• Complete OSHA records and annual reporting.
• Support organization-wide safety initiatives and process improvements.
• Serve as a safety resource for questions related to OSHA requirements.
