Job summary

North Platte Valley Medical Center in Saratoga, WY seeks an experienced Business Office Supervisor to lead our Business Office team. This role oversees day-to-day business operations, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, admissions, billing, patient accounts, and resident trust funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital standards.

As part of the leadership team, the supervisor provides guidance to staff, supports revenue cycle processes, and coordinates with hospital

Qualifications

• Experience in Billing Office Operations in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Minimum 5–8 years in billing/operational leadership.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Education in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll, admissions, billing, and patient accounts.
• Supervise business office staff and support revenue cycle processes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and payer requirements.
• Prepare revenue cycle reports and drive process improvements.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
