Job summary

Brentwood Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to manage patient accounts from discharge to final disposition. You will perform collection calls to carriers and guarantors, review credits for refunds, and assist with billing tasks across the team.

Responsibilities include following up on billed accounts within 30 days, posting cash for self-pay accounts, and verifying benefits to ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience with third-party and self-pay collections preferred.
• Three years of experience in collections preferred; familiarity with hospital revenue cycle helpful.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with standard daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Collection calls to third-party carriers and guarantors for each account on the daily work list.
• Review credit balances and prepare refund requests for Business Office Director review.
• Assist with billing and collection work lists when others are absent; perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow up on billed accounts within 30 days to confirm receipt and accuracy.
• Post cash for self-pay accounts and verify patient benefits.
