Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Retail Strategy & Optimization Manager to support our Marketing team and drive performance across our retail foodservice portfolio in healthcare environments.

This role partners with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Culinary, and Field Leadership to ensure retail concepts, promotions, pricing, and programs are strategically aligned and executed. Candidates should have 5+ years in retail strategy and strong data skills, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in retail strategy, marketing analytics, category management, or multi-unit foodservice.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• POS data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing leadership in developing and executing retail strategies aligned with brand and growth objectives
• Analyze retail performance data including sales, margin, traffic, promotions, and product mix
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to optimize retail performance
• Lead optimization initiatives related to retail concepts, menus, pricing, merchandising, and promotions
• Support the development and rollout of retail programs, tools, and best practices
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure strategies are practical, scalable, and executable
• Measure program effectiveness and provide insights and recommendations
• Support change management and adoption across accounts
• Stay current on retail, consumer, and foodservice trends, especially in healthcare
