Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and deploy appropriate analytic techniques to solve complex business problems and overcome measurement challenges
• Develop studies to evaluate and improve program performance, including analytic dataset creation, selection of statistical methods and summaries of results for a wide range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Work closely with stakeholders and executive leadership to understand business needs, explain methods, and interpret actionable findings
• Manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet non-negotiable deadlines
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience/proficiency with statistical techniques such as regression and difference-in-difference analysis
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare outcomes research
• 3+ years of experience working with large-scale medical and pharmacy claims datasets
• 3+ years of experience with advanced SAS programming
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience/proficiency with statistical techniques such as regression, trajectory balancing and difference-in-difference analysis
• Subject matter expertise in leveraging multiple disparate data sources
• Experience with behavioral health conditions and treatments
• Proficiency in R or Python

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
