Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dynamic healthcare business development professional to strengthen referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, senior communities and post-acute care partners. You will educate referral sources on Enhabit services to support patient transitions and improve outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (healthcare administration, marketing or related) or equivalent nursing/therapy/social work background, at least two years of healthcare business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of approved nursing/therapy/social work program.
• Two years of healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• If Clinical: valid clinical license per state requirements to perform this job.
• Preferred home health, hospice, post-acute care experience.
• Preferred experience with referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to drive in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems and related organizations).
• Educates referral sources about Enhabit services to support post-acute care transitions and improve patient outcomes.
• Supports referral growth by promoting awareness of program requirements to patients, families and community partners.
