Job summary

River Walk Care Center is seeking a skilled business development professional to expand its referral network and grow census through relationships with hospitals, clinics, and community organizations. The role emphasizes external sales and strategic marketing to drive quality mix and occupancy.

You will collaborate with the VP of Business Development to plan marketing initiatives, assess community needs, and target referral sources, ensuring admissions are clinically and financially qualified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
• Proven success in developing referrals for a medical product from health care target markets.
• Evidence of a local referral network from which to develop referrals.

Responsibilities

• Expand community base and develop referral relationships with senior-service organizations, case managers/discharge planners from hospitals, rehabs and nursing homes, adult day care centers, geriatric physicians, assisted living, retirement communities, etc.
