Job summary

MBI Industrial Medicine in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Employer Services Specialist to manage a group of employer clients within the Revenue Cycle Management unit. You will handle billing, invoicing, follow-ups, and maintain timely payments while delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with employer AP, HR, and risk teams, attending client meetings, and producing accurate statements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in writing and verbal communications.
• Experience presenting situations and resolution to clients.
• Knowledge of worker’s comp billing guidelines, employment physicals, testing, chain of custody guidelines etc.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology, healthcare revenue cycle procedures, patient accounts.
• Ability to quickly pivot priorities.
• Dependable, good attendance, personable.
• Customer service excellence.
• Four years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle; 2+ years in workers' comp.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned group of employer clients independently.
• Bill and generate invoices promptly; follow up to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain low balances on accounts older than 30 days and pursue settlements within 30 days.
• Develop client relations with Points of Contact and liaise with AP, Risk, and HR teams.
• Attend in-person client meetings and collaborate with sales, clinic and operations staff.
