Job summary

Siri InfoSolutions, Inc. in Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Medical Staff Quality Specialist to support UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and the Organized Medical Staff with OPPE, peer review, and credentialing projects.

You will design, implement, and manage reporting databases and analytical processes for medical staff evaluation. Reporting to the Director of Medical Staff Administration, you will analyze OPPE and peer review data, generate routine and ad hoc reports,

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant healthcare/clinical experience.
• Experience managing FPPE, OPPE, and professionalism cases for medical staff offices.
• Clinical experience preferred; verify required certificates/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Director of Medical Staff Administration in analyzing OPPE and peer review data.
• Completes assigned projects related to medical staff data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Writes reports from peer review database upon request and on a recurring basis.
• Maintains the integrity of data ensuring timely, relevant, accurate and consistent information use.
• Summarizes and reports OPPE and peer review data.
• Assists in improving the quality of data and information as appropriate; including audit of data collection processes.
• Participates in medical staff committees and teams to help track quality outcomes and measures.
• Maintains knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory standards related to medical staff credentialing, privileging, and ongoing evaluation, and professionalism.
• Promotes and adheres to the customer service philosophy and standards of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland by interacting and communicating with colleagues in a way that promotes a harmonious and cooperative working environment.
