Job summary

Intermountain Centers in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Quality Improvement Manager to guide the QI Team under the Director of QI & Compliance. You will ensure reporting deliverables, maintain the medical records system, and implement quality improvement strategies.

The role includes supervising QI Specialists and Medical Records staff, coordinating with programs and sites, and supporting audits to meet state and funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level or higher in healthcare field, data analytics, quality improvement, public health, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare, data analytics, and/or quality improvement.
• At least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees systems and processes to meet contract deliverable requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of reporting requirements of funders, contracts, regulatory, and accreditation entities; educate staff on requirements.
• Monitors and ensures reporting systems are reliable and accurate.
• Ensures reports are prepared in accordance with contract obligations and guidance.
• Applies up-to-date quality management, data analytics, and performance measurement tools.
• Develops and maintains process design documents for reporting deliverables.
• Communicates with internal and external staff to meet contract deliverables.
• Provide written analysis of data, identify trends, and make recommendations for reporting and quality measures.
• Develop systems efficiencies to support process improvement and quality outcomes.
• Serve as SME to programs on health plan and state/federal healthcare rules.
• Coordinate and support programs for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate on corrective action plans and training.
• Ensure adverse events are reported per requirements.
