Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Florida seeks a data analyst to maintain outcome measurements, perform statistical analysis, and create reports from multiple databases to support leadership. You will collaborate across departments, develop action plans from Clinical Excellence data, and present insights to project teams, helping advance quality and clinical excellence initiatives.

This is a full-time role requiring a BA/BS and 3+ years of analytics experience, with strong MS Office and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, and/or Computer Science.
• Three years of sophisticated computer usage and statistical analysis experience.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio).
• Experience with complex graphing and charting and understanding of statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for quality-related data for hospital leadership.
• Maintain outcome measurements including statistical analysis.
• Create reports from several organizational databases and collaborate with other departments in obtaining and providing data for reports and graphical displays.
• Assist in strategic goal development and monitoring for Quality Pillar, Clinical Excellence Index and national award submissions.
• Support hospital’s leaders to identify the need for and develop action plans through Clinical Excellence Index data, Nat’l Collaborative and department report cards.
• Use statistical expertise to research and identify benchmarks for key quality indicators.
• Develop reports and conducts statistical analyses using a variety of internal and external data sources.
• Utilize performance improvement tools to communicate data values and trends.
• Present and communicate data analysis and performance improvement recommendations to project teams, leadership and task forces.
• Maintain a current database management system on multiple repositories ensuring archive, security, and retrieval.
