Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking a Quality Improvement Analyst IBDC to manage outcome measurements through statistical analysis and reporting. You will create data-rich reports from multiple databases and collaborate with departments for graphical displays and national submissions.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or computer science, plus at least three years of advanced computer use and statistical analysis.

Qualifications

• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and data tools.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data reporting.
• Ability to develop and communicate performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for quality-related data for hospital leadership.
• Maintain outcome measurements including statistical analysis.
• Create reports from multiple databases and provide data for reports and visuals.
• Support strategic goal development and monitoring for Quality Pillar and index data.
• Develop action plans through data analysis and department reports.
• Perform statistical analyses using internal and external data sources.
• Use flow charts and Pareto analyses to communicate data trends.
• Present data analyses and recommendations to teams and leadership.
• Maintain and secure databases and ensure accurate presentations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, and/or Computer Science
