Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a data analyst to maintain outcome measurements and perform statistical analysis within a healthcare setting. You will create reports from multiple databases and collaborate with departments to provide data for reports and visuals.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for quality-related data, developing action plans from Clinical Excellence data, and presenting findings to leadership and project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sophisticated computer usage and statistical analysis experience.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio).
• Experience with complex graphing and charting (Control charts, run charts) and understanding of statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for quality-related data for hospital leadership.
• Maintaining outcome measurements and statistical analysis.
• Creates reports from several organizational databases and collaborates with other departments for data and graphical displays.
• Assists in strategic goal development and monitoring for Quality Pillar and Clinical Excellence Index.
• Supports leaders to identify needs and develops action plans through Clinical Excellence data and national collaborations.
• Uses statistical expertise to research benchmarks for key quality indicators.
• Develops reports and conducts statistical analyses using internal and external data sources.
• Presents data analysis and improvement recommendations to project teams and leadership.
• Maintains a current database management system across repositories to assure archive, security, and retrieval.
• Prioritizes and ensures accuracy of information contained in reports/presentations.
• Provides support documentation for reports and databases created.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, and/or Computer Science
