Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Manager Purchasing to oversee daily procurement of goods, services and equipment ensuring uninterrupted patient care. You will lead the purchasing team, negotiate with vendors, and align purchasing with quality standards and the budget.

This role serves as a bridge between clinical staff and suppliers, manages MMIS data for accurate reporting, and partners with Accounts Payable to resolve invoices. A Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum two years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Four to eight years of purchasing/accounts payable/warehouse experience with appropriate education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing of goods, services and equipment to support patient care.
• Lead the purchasing team and negotiate favorable vendor terms.
• Ensure MMIS data accuracy and timely reporting to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoices and maintain process flow.
• Lead bid processes and utilize GPO resources for best value.
• Support departmental budgeting and special projects.
