Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service, office, telephone-based, medical, or healthcare environment.
• Experience handling high-volume calls preferred.
• Experience communicating with healthcare providers, medical offices, or members preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult or upset callers.
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Teams, and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with healthcare providers and members.
• Respond to questions and provide accurate, timely solutions.
• Resolve provider and member concerns while ensuring proper follow-up through completion.
• Educate healthcare providers on processes and procedures, including orders, exchanges, returns, and lost, stolen, or damaged claims.
• Communicate professionally through phone, email, fax, and Microsoft Teams.
• Send, receive, and maintain required documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve provider or member issues.
• Maintain accurate records and document interactions appropriately.
• Protect confidential information and safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
