Job summary

Cuningham seeks a Project Manager for our Phoenix office to lead diverse projects with a focus on healthcare. You will manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams, while maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality design outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in project management in relevant fields, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Deltek Vantagepoint. Compensation ranges based on location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.
• Healthcare project experience preferred; other markets acceptable with strong background.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional licensure (architect or PE) or NCARB registration; PMP welcome but not required.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, scope, and contracts across multi-discipline teams.
• Strong client-facing communication and leadership in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size project teams and define success for each project.
• Build strong teams with Project Executive and other leaders and grow talent.
• Shape scope, deliverables, schedules and fees into solid proposals.
• Support design and technical leads across multi-discipline, multi-phase projects.
• Maintain work plans and budgets; motivate the team and communicate openly.
• Own project budgets and financial performance; identify opportunities for additional services.
• Plan and run meetings and communications with stakeholders; flag risks early.
• Administer Owner and Consultant contracts and oversee technical submissions.
