Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Project Executive to lead a large healthcare project team, or multiple small teams, guiding direction, completion and financial outcomes. The role sits on-site with some travel for trainings and meetings.

You will drive safety, contract compliance, and financial forecasting while building high-performing teams and engaging with owners, subcontractors and design professionals to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10-15 years of experience in construction management, healthcare experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes overall accountability for jobsite safety and contract requirements.
• Verifies financial forecast, notice provisions and billings; escalates deviations.
• Leads a project team to create quality and closeout plans aligned with contracts.
• Provides leadership to project administration, superintendents, and engineers.
• Manages subcontracting strategy and buyout process integrity at project level.
• Negotiates contracts, leads risk mitigation, and finalizes purchase orders.
• Ensures compliance with insurance and bonds for the project.
• Coordinates preconstruction services and reviews deliverables with Owner and design team.
• Maintains communication and prioritization to meet project schedule.
• Develops local market profiles and networking strategy.
• Partners with business development for client capture and account plans.
• Supports career development and fosters an inclusive team environment.
• Interprets organizational strategy and aligns team efforts with goals.
