Job summary

Healthcare Engineers position serves as a Project Engineer at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH in Engineering Service.

This position performs project planning, produces designs, manages designs, manages construction, and provides construction administration for Minor Construction Projects, Non-Recurring Maintenance (NRM) Projects, Station Level Projects, and Leases, including all areas and aspects at the medical center and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC)'s.

Qualifications

• Education meeting ABET or NCEES standards or equivalent.
• Evidence of passing FE exam or EIT status with degree.
• Professional registration or licensure as PE or Architect.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects and perform project planning activities.
• Produce and manage designs for healthcare facilities.
• Manage construction and provide construction administration for projects.
• Handle Minor Construction, NRMs, Station Level Projects and Leases at the medical center and CBOCs.
