CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Buyer Specialist to lead strategic procurement across pharmacy, capital equipment and general healthcare supplies. You will ensure cost‑effective sourcing, analyze market trends, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendors, partnering with stakeholders to support patient care and operational efficiency.

In this role you will check requisitions, manage purchase orders, collaborate with departments, and identify alternative sources.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with 3 years of supply chain experience.
• Associate degree with procurement experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Checks purchase requisitions for proper authorization and completeness prior to acquisition.
• Initiates and maintains purchase orders using Supply Chain software.
• Works closely with requesting departments, providing information and assistance in purchasing matters.
• Meets customer needs and priorities; aims to exceed expectations.
• Identifies sources of supply and alternate products when back orders occur.
• Performs procurement functions with accuracy and competence.
