Formación

• High School education or higher is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical field.
• At least 1 year of experience with insurance companies.
• Immunizations required for employment including flu vaccine.
• Wage starts at $19.65 per hour and increases with experience.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phone calls from physician offices, hospitals, and patients with courteous service.
• Ensure reliable, punctual attendance.
• Update EHR with authorizations and insurance information.
• Obtain prior authorizations and contact insurance companies.
• Develop organized workflows for the department.
• Work collaboratively with other departments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Utilize Excel and reporting tools as required.
