Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Lakeland, FL seeks an Associate Practice Administrator to lead day-to-day operations of one or more physician practices, optimize workflows, and enhance patient care.

You will collaborate with providers and staff on budgets, performance metrics, staff development, onboarding, and compliance, while driving improvements across departments.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish, healthcare operations expertise, and experience leading teams in medical settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and physician practice management.
• Experience leading teams in a healthcare or operational setting.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle management, billing, human resources, budgeting, financial analysis, clinical workflows, and recruitment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Preferred: 2+ years healthcare management in a physician practice.
• Preferred: 1+ years leading clinical and operational teams.
• Preferred: Experience with budgeting, Excel, and healthcare data analysis.
• Preferred: Managing multiple priorities across locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative operations and support efficient practice performance.
• Monitor operational and financial metrics to drive organizational success.
• Manage practice budgets and review financial reports for accuracy and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, develop, and support administrative staff.
• Partner with providers and operational leaders to address practice needs and achieve organizational goals.
• Assist with provider onboarding and recruitment initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
• Facilitate communication across departments to improve operational effectiveness.
